Project Description

We had to cover as much of this 1956 runabout as possible, allow few openings, and use minimal hardware. It also had to protect the boat from weather and protect the bottom of hull from road debris. Hot Pink Sunbrella was used to maintain the boat’s original color. The engine cover attaches with a zipper and is reinforced with Velcro. Other challenges were lining the underside of the boat and adding the contrasting striping and highlights, while minimizing bulk at edges and corners.
