Project Description

There are 28 loose cushions and backrests, each approximately two feet square, and 18 loose cushions of 20 inches square. Each cushion and backrest is attached to the structure with eight snaps, and each loose cushion has contrasting fabric piping. The goal of the project was to make symmetrical lounges with each unit attached to a hinge structure over a storage compartment. The client wanted them to be removable so they could be stored individually. He also wanted the loose cushions to be contrasting not only in fabric but also in the piping.
