Project Description

The original cushions and back rests had an overstuffed look, the foam was too soft, and the fabric was a dull solid brown with zero character. The idea was to make the area look richer. Stripes gave it a feel of importance that fit the style of the owner. Firmer foam was more comfortable and will increase the life of the cushions. The new design featured a stripe alignment; all cushions and backrests had to be patterned individually. The difficulty was knowing we would eventually lose the stripe on the inside corners. We were able to align them.
