Project Description

We made and installed a full enclosure on an inflatable dinghy. The bimini top had to cover the helm area when the front panels where off and still fold back to the arch when in a booted storage position. All eight windows needed to roll up and fit in the storage locker underneath the helm bench seat with custom storage bags. The enclosure had to have good visibility and ventilation. We added a small vent with a micro horseshoe zipper on the top of the front center panel with a flap to cover the zipper. All eight windows were sized to fit in the storage locker. The customer also requested that track be drilled and tapped to the radar arch. We needed a small window for the front navigation light and access points for bow cleats. So we sewed in 40-gauge isinglass between the Sunbrella strips on the entire bottom edge.
