IFAI now offers business insurance to members of the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA). The broker for this new membership benefit is Marsh & McLennan Agency, who is also IFAI’s insurance broker.
“This is the first time IFAI has been able to offer this type of benefit to members. We have had many requests from members to provide access to quality business insurance but were unable to find the right partner. With Marsh & McLennan, one of the largest insurance brokers in the world, we will have access to the types of insurance solutions that will benefit our members,” says IFAI president and CEO Steve Schiffman.
Schiffman adds, “We encourage all MFA members to see if the Marine Fabricators Business Insurance Program is right for their business. Over the next several months, we anticipate launching other customized insurance plans that are specific to our member’s needs.”
Options include property, inland marine, general Liability, auto liability, workers compensation/employer’s liability, cyber liability and EPNI employment practices liability Insurance.
In addition to the Marine Fabricators Business Insurance, IFAI will be launching several other new benefits in 2019, including a Textile Industry Retirement Plan, Textile Industry Health Plan, PartnerShip discounts, Worldpay payment processing discounts and energy consulting from APPI Energy.
